Committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care that supports people move toward healing, well-being, and growth.
I have always been drawn to understanding how people cope, heal, and grow. As a child, I often wondered who helped care for the emotions and thoughts of children and families facing illness, loss, and uncertainty. Early experiences with loss and witnessing the impact of illness shaped both my personal perspective and professional path.
My career began two decades ago supporting children and adolescents living with HIV/AIDS in Boston, and expanded to helping individuals across the lifespan navigate the psychological impact of medical conditions, trauma, grief, recovery, and major life transitions. Through this work, I have come to appreciate the powerful connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and resilience.
I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to my work and believe that meaningful growth begins with feeling understood. Applying cognitive behavioral therapy principles and systems theory, I am known for listening deeply, creating a space that feels both grounding and forward moving, and helping clients develop practical psychological skills that foster resilience and alignment in thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Whether you are coping with a medical diagnosis, adjusting to life after injury, navigating grief or trauma, managing stress in high-performance environments, or facing a significant life transition, my approach is collaborative, evidence-informed, and tailored to your unique goals and experiences.
